For the final piece of my Photography project 'Distortion', I decided to print out portraits and finger paint on top of them, similar to the work of Arnulf Rainer. I then scanned the photos in and created a small concertina book of surreal and distorted portraits.

During my A-Level, I became interested in Street Photography, concentrating on people by themselves, usually in cafe's and shop windows and they were in their own world and seemed far away. I also thought the reflections I could capture in the windows added to the photograph and sometimes created an ironic juxtaposition to the main subject.

Outside of my educational studies, I have continually tried to develop and push my drawings. Having always been interested in portraits and people, I have tried to use different medias and different scales to experiment with my own style of working.

Digital drawing without reference (2013) - I'm so out of practice of digital drawing, I used to do so much!
